how to use this deck
you can practice in many ways - it is great to practice with others. one way to explore them is to take a few breaths, say each one 5 times, in your mind or aloud and feel into your body. what do you experience when you say them? over time, practicing a few daily could create a shift in reality. what is possible with a habit like this one?

ikran yusuf (she/her) is a student at toronto metropolitan university, currently completing her master of public health in dietetics with a specialization in global health. she is committed ot cultivating culturally relevant care through health promotion, education, and community-based initiatives. she has over eight years of experience working with black, low-income, marginalized, and equity-deserving communities, which has allowed her to develop skills in creating accessible and engaging educational resources. in her free time, I enjoy my morning walks outside (yes, even in this cold), reading, meditation journaling, and cooking.
nia o (she/her) is the founder of colour in mind. as a registered nurse, social entrepreneur and 300 hour meditation guide, she is passionate about uncovering truths within the intersections of health, race, mindfulness and social inequity. colour in mind was created out of her own lived experience, having faced severe adversity for several years. she enjoys creating meditations, soundscapes, walking slowly in nature and learning igbo language.
